Technology slaves

It’s more than two hours in office and nothing seems to have been working till now. tried calling up Tina… she too switched off the phone. I don’t understand why the world carries mobiles when they have to not attend phone calls. And this thing bugs me often. I mean the whole thing… that we are becoming slaves to technology. we want to carry it as the albatross (of Coleridge fame) around our neck. We might not get a phone call, or we might not call anybody at all but we need it. If it’s not working we panic, we try and call up customer care services… we just need it to be working whether it may come into use or not.
But these damn things, stop working when you need them the most. Either the network would be weak, or your battery gives way, or you do not have enough balance in your SIM card to make a call or then the person who is being called up (the maharaja of the moment) is too busy to attend your calls.
Tina… I need to know that whether there are any vacancies in your office or not. For my friend and certainly not for me. I’ve been trying to call her up since the day before yesterday. She was in a middle of a car accident at that time.
Well have two assignments today… one at JN Stadium… some advture sports story… but rahul… our photojournalist hasn’t turned up as yet. He’s delaying it unnecessarily. He says, he’s getting his bike serviced. Is that TRUE Rahul… or is it something else.
Then there is this next assignment… interview of Sayema an RJ of radio Mirchi, who’s got this RAPA Award.
